The mission remains the same: Service above Self. But with Rotary E-Clubs, members need not make weekly in-person meetings; instead, they participate on their own time at their own pace through an online meeting layout found on the groups’ website. This is often considered the next generation of Rotary due to the increased lack of time and resources among a growing number of people. This format allows members all the benefits of being a full Rotarian in the most prestigious 1.2 million member service organization in the world, with the honor of serving both local and world-wide communities – all with a more streamlined process and informal meeting structure.

Rotary District 7300 in Pittsburgh is proud to announce the forthcoming charter of Rotary E-Club of Pittsburgh! The vision for this new club is to remain focused on service and fellowship, while allowing its members to participate via this online format. Currently, the E-Club is recruiting its initial charter membership!

2015-16 District Governor Bill Segar was quoted as saying, “This is an exciting time for Rotary … and we are more attractive than ever to a new generation of Rotarians!”
